JOB ROLE:                                                                                                                                                                                                            § To represent Social observation function in product planning cell, to track existing & future social trends. Understand the implications & provide inputs to product planning /definition process
§ Will help the company to define better customer centric products. In line with social trendsKRAs:
1) Define structure & methodology for social observation
2) Continuously monitor social trends & its possible impact on automotive business.
3) Provide vital inputs in the process of Product definition
4) Establish social network which feeds data / opinions to company on present / future products
5) Participate in customers clinic & help the team to generate customer insights

JOB PURPOSE:          
-To represent marketing function in product planning cell, in terms of facilitating customer connect , conceptualization & articulation of Product – Market definition
– Will help the company to remain competitive in the context of several new products introduction. Key Result Areas
1) Plan and facilitate Customer inputs by means of Quantitative & qualitative surveys.
2) Concept development of New platforms & variants in existing and forthcoming product range to ensure competitiveness by doing systematic analysis and finding gaps of competitive product position.
3) Initiate Competitive intelligence tracking process with respect to the new and existing products.
4) COE for customer related data within product development by conducting regular surveys.
5) To lead price value decision to ensure that the pricing is in line with customer value.
6) One of the key drivers in the concepts to business case process to have the market intelligence about the new product we plan to have as per the market trends.
